| A piece of coast with the mild climate, mediterranean. That's why it takes an almond to take roots. Or a single life, blessed with a generous land, somewhere in the heart of Transylvania. Briefly, a rarity. The old tradition of Transylvanian noble wine is reborn into this corner away from the harsh wind, where the grapes ripen in the shade at the quietly gentle almond. Its name is Ciumbrud and, despite its long tradition of growing grapes, always manages to reinvent itself. Interrupted thread of the story of the varietal wine cultivation is now resumed by “Domeniile Boieru” in the small and stylish wine cellar Ciumbrud where the almond drop of miracle increased in the heart of Transylvania is seen in every glass of noble wine. In the almond life from vineyard Ciumbrud, every glass of wine has a story to tell. The beginning however is the same: brown soils and floodplain forests, moderate temperatures at key stages of maturation in this corner protected by nature are ideal conditions for the cultivation of vines. Noble varieties blend harmoniously to create an exceptional blend of “Sauvignion Blanc”, “Traminer”, “Chardonnay”, “Riesling”, “Feteasca Alba” or “Pinot Gris”. Ciumbrud white wines have high acidity, with subtle fruity notes, but playful, a real seduction of the senses. Lately, climate changes from the area helped to enrich the collection Ciumbrud with red wines from “Pinot Noir” and “Feteasca Neagra” varieties remarkable because of their strong and well balanced flavors who releases that gradually. The small cellar “Ciumbrud” does not occupy much place on the map of Transylvania, but it is defining for the values and specificity ??of this region. The good thing done without haste, but with plenty of passion, the love for the tradition and not least, for the noble wine that has undergone centuries of tastes and found a friend in every drinker. Therefore, the “Ciumbrud” wine deserves a place on the map of any consumer and wine lover, the one in which has gathered things from which he could be in love for a lifetime. This enchanted potion, with fine flavor, brings happiness to the table, either you're with friends in a restaurant and you just tasted the house wine or at a family meal with your loved ones. The wine produced are Feteasca Regala, Feteasca Alba, Riesling Italian, Rhein Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat Ottonel, Traminer, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Feteasca Neagra. |
