Founded in 1994 by Count Guy Tyrel de POIX, French wine producer (owner of 50 ha of vineyards in Corsica – Domaine PERALDI), SERVE has started its activity by introducing on the market the first Romanian private owned brand in wines – “Vinul Cavalerului”.
The company began the production of wines in 1995 and planted the first hectars of vineyard in 2000, mostly with plants produced in its own nursery. The cellar (with a capacity of 15.000 hl for a production of 1,000,000 bt and a bottling facility of 2.500 bt/hour) is situated in Ceptura, Dealu Mare region. Ongoing investments are improving  vinification techniques, conditioning, stocking and bottling every year.

Low production (50 hl/ha), careful grape selection, transport of grapes at controlled temperature (below 10 deg C) and permanent consultancy from a team of French oenologists, lead to the general recognition of the “SERVE quality” which has become a brand in Romania. The desire to have only the best grapes for our wines encouraged us to work in other famous Romanian vineyards too. 42 ha in Dobrogea joined Dealu Mare as SERVE’s second vineyard. The result of this selection is the new range of wines,”TerraRomana”, promoted exclusively in restaurants and wine shops.
