Senator is a private company that tries to bring the Romanian grape varieties to the world and to obtain the international varieties with the accent on the Romanian „terroir”. Senator begun producing wine in the region of Vrancea, which is one of the oldest and most famous regions in Romania for its wines. Through the years the company grew and now it services 850 hectares vineyards in four different regions: Vrancea, Insuratei-Braila, Husi and Tirol.

With the vineyards in these different areas, the company has the possibility to select the best wines from each region and to provide a high standard of quality to the consumers.


The two brands owned by the company, that have been recently launched, are „Monser”, which is a collection of ten Romanian grape varieties and also the largest collection of this kind on the market, and „Varius”, which is a selection of five international varieties.
