CERTIND is a certification body established in 2003 and has a capital of 192,000 lei (approx. 60.000 EURO) and a head office in the area of private property 167 sqm (6 offices) in the Palace UGIR-1903. The main activity of the certification body CERTIND is to provide services to customers in Romania and abroad in the field of: - assessment, certification, surveillance, inspection of management systems and of products conformity with the technical specification, certification in the mandatory and voluntary system These activities are undertaken by: - 23 employees specialists in quality assurance. - 70 external partners that are accepted as auditor / lead auditor - 200 external collaborators - specialists who are accepted as technical experts in the audit teams. CERTIND has now a number of more than 5000 contracts to provide certification services for management systems and products conformity to technical specifications. CERTIND provides services under an accreditation system according to ISO/IEC 17021 and is under way tacking-out the 8th international accreditation and one recognition in Europe (5 - from ESYD Greece, 3 from RENAR- Romania and one from SINCERT-ACCREDIA Italy) as follow: 1. ESYD- Greece Accreditation for: - Quality management system certification according to ISO 9001, - Environmental management systems certification according to ISO 14001 - Food safety management systems certification according to ISO 22000 - Occupational health and safety management systems certification according to OHSAS 18001 - Certification information security management systems according to ISO/ IEC 27001. 2. RENAR- Romania Accreditation for: - Quality management system certification according to ISO 9001, - products conformity with the technical specification certification in the mandatory system - products conformity with the technical specification certification in the voluntary system 3. Recognition by SINCERT-Italy for quality management systems certification, according to national regulation RT-05 for the construction organizations 4. CERTIND is a notified body for Regulations in the Field of Constuction by the European Commission To date, CERTIND has issued more than 5000 certificates of conformity and 70 from them are issued to companies outside Romania: Italy, Serbia, Turkey, Greece, Ukraine, Germany and Moldova. CERTIND provides services of management systems certification through these business points already existing: 2 locations in Italy, 1 location in Serbia, 2 locations in Spain and 1 location in Republic of Moldova. In 2008 CERTIND had a turnover of 2,000,000 Euro (6,499,327 lei) and for 2009 has planned a turnover of 1,800,000 Euro (turnover of 5,050,000 lei till now) there is the completion thereof. CERTIND perform certification activities using extensive experience and qualified auditors in the country and abroad. CERTIND uses the most modern and fast mechanisms, procedures and processes in certification activities, using the Internet in most of the transmission of data, documents and specific information (except on-site assessment activities), making it the most modern, powerful and dynamic certification body.
