SC Pasmatex SA Timisoara is a company with tradition in the field of haberdashery. It’s headquarter is in Timis County, city of Timisoara, Jiul Street, No.2.

    The factory has been founded in 1st of June 1919 as an individual company and started the activity with 3 knitting manual machines for manufacturing knitted neckwear and muffler. In 1920 the looms were mechanized and in 1921 factory bought 5 more looms used to ribbons production and start to produce this new range of goods with 23 employees. In 1925 factory has 14 looms for the ribbons and 10 knitted looms and worked with 53 employees. After it’s development throughout the years, fusions and investments, the factory had a important rising in the production field, new technologies and products diversifications.

    In 1990, the textile factory "13 Decembrie" had become joint stock company, the capital being owned by the Romanian state register red to the County Trade Registry Office with: J 35/66/1991 under the name of SC PASMATEX SA. In 1995, SC PASMATEX SA became joint stock Company 100%, having the entire private capital under Romanian ownership.

    From 1995, under a management, which based on quality, placing the customer before all objectives and through important efforts of buying new technology, the new ownership managed to make the company profitable, approached new markets and made our trade mark well known in our country and in foreign states.

    In order to satisfy greater exigencies of even greater industrial clients, and those of the final consumers, Pasmatex obtained it’s first certification in the year 2001, SR EN 9001/2001.

   Pasmatex exports it’s products in: France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, UK, Lithuania, Moldova, Sweden.
