   - PIETROASA and CASA DE VINURI PIETROASA brand names, which are very known and appreciated.
     BACHUS S.A. has been founded on the basis of the old Intreprinderea Viei si Vinului Buzau Company founded in 1969, by the acquisition of its assets, its specialized personnel and wine collection.
     BACHUS S.A. has become an open company since 1991 and in 1999 the Company has become privately held.
The notoriety and appreciation of PIETROASA® wines are growing substantially, the good quality, constancy, of the wines, being the key element of the development strategy.

    The  basis  for  raw  materials  comes  from the Dealu Mare and Dealurile Buzaului vineyards, specialized in obtaining dry, premium wines and natural sweet, flavored wines.
    The  Dealu  Mare  and  Dealurile  Buzaului  vineyards are situated in a well defined geographical area, on The Subcarpathians Hills, which stretch for approximately100 km between Valea Teleajenului and Valea Ramnicului.
     Due to the soil composition, rich in limestone, a favorable microclimate and a low level of rain in autumn, the grapes are a valuable raw material for obtaining great quality wines.
    The modern technological process and rigorous quality control are constantly upgraded in order to be successful in the field.
