In December 2002, TELETRANS was launched as a subsidiary of Transelectrica, offering communications and IT services for power carriers and started operations in January 2003.

    As national communications operator,TELETRANS offers a wide range of communications services, dedicated to telecom operators, big enterprises and Internet Service Providers. We supply a wide range of high quality services, based on FO infrastructure and state of the art IP/MPLS equipment.

    TELETRANS owns and operates a metropolitan network with national coverage and 5.000 Km length, with more than 100 access nodes, points of presence in 14 big cities and access facilities in other 22, cross border connections with Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine and Moldavia, fully redundant multilayer network, with 9 adjacent rings IP/MPLS technology.
