Aurelia Visinescu along with her business partner Steve Cacenco have founded in 2003 the company that was destined to host the knowledge of a famous winemaker and the passion for the beautiful world of wines, named Domeniile Sahateni. After an investment of 3 million Euro, it can be found today their own plantations in Dealu Mare area, a very modern cellar including a bottling section and a maturation cellar of the wine in barriques.  The grapes are coming from the 100 ha of Domeniile Sahateni’s vineyards - located in the villages of Sahateni, Naeni and Fintesti and part of the grapes are purchased from the private growers from the same area . The area’s winemaking potential is known as being generous for both white wines and red ones. The winery has facilities to process 1.000 to grapes / vintage (30 % whites and 70% reds), with 2 separate production lines, completely automatic controlled fermentation process for both white and red wines. All the equipments used in the production process are from stainless steal. An underground cellar equipped with 160 barrique’s assure the optimum conditions for ageing of some special wine batches. Automatic bottling line, with a capacity of 1.500 btls of 75 cl /h allows the bottling of the wines at origin. The high performance equipment assures protection against wine bottle oxidation by eliminating the air before filling and by injecting inert gas before bottling. The bottled wine is stocked as a final product in the modern warehouse and the one for ageing improves at bottle in the winery cellar. The main processed grapes varieties are : Feteasca Neagra, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir - for reds and Feteasca Alb, Riesling Italian, Sauvignon Blanc, Tamâioasa Romaneasca and Muscat Ottonel for the whites. Investments are still made to replace and modernise the vineyards : 22 ha has been replaced in 2008 spring and work is done for another 14 ha. The first crop entirely vinified in the cellar was produces in 2006 and bottled in 2007. The offer’s segmentation is modern and keeps into account the market’s demands. Varietal line contains 7 types from the sorts Feteasca Neagra, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Feteasca Alba, Riesling Italian and Sauvignon Blanc while Reserva range is made from exclusive blends, based on the two major native sorts:  Feteasca Alba and
Feteasca Neagra The 15 years experience in winemaking, and the appetite for new and modern, the knowledge of the European commercial ways ensures us that Domeniile Sahateni will have an important place in Romanian sector . We assume the duty and honour to recover the dimension of the Romanian wine value. That is why, even under the sign of new, we keep each sort’s personality, ancestral pattern. It’s a form of respect for the Romanian vineyard. It’s a form of respect for more than 2.000 years of the Romanian vine growing and winemaking tradition. |
Aurelia Visinescu-Œnologue qui a redéfini la force du vin Feteasca Neagra, avec son partenaire Steve Cacenco ont crée, en 2003, une companie pour herbéger la science d'un célèbre oenologue et la passion pour le merveilleux monde des vins: les Domaines Sahateni. Au bout d'un projet de 3 mil euros, on trouve, en présent, des propres plantations en Dealu Mare, un pressoir très modern, la secteur d'embouteillir et un pressoir pour maturation des vins en barriques. Les raisins sont issus de 100 ha. de la Domaines Sahateni-situés en Sahateni, Naieni et Fintesti, aussi même des indépendants viticulteurs de même territoire viticol. Le potentiel de la vinification de la région est connu comme généraux pour les vins blancs, mais aussi pour les rouges. Le pressoir est situé même au milieu du vignoble Dealu Mare où "terroir" a prouvé la prise des vins exceptionnels. Le pressoir a les facilités pour une production de cca 1000 t raisins/saison (30% blancs et 70 % rouges), avec 2 lignes separées de production, avec la fermentation controlée, complètement automatisée même pour les blancs et aussi pour les rouges. Tous les équipages utilisés dans le proces de production sont au inox alimentaire. Une cave souterraine douée avec 150 barriques les conditions propices pour vieillir de certains lots de vin. La ligne automatisée d'emboutellir, avec une capacité de 1500 st de 75 cl/h permet à emboutellir les vins aux origines . L'équipage très modern assure la protection contre la patine du vin en bouteille par l'élimination d'air des bouteille avant de coulage et par l'injection de gaz inert avant de poser le bouchon. Le vin embouteillé est deposé comme un produit fini dans un depot moderne, celui pour vieillir reste dans la bouteille dans la cave du pressoir. Les principales varietés du vin sont : Feteasca Neagra, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon et Pinot Noir-pour les vins rouges et Feteasca Alba, Riesling Italian, Sauvignon Blanc, tamaioasa Romaneasca et Muscat Otonel pour blancs. On investe de suite , complètement, dans le pressoir et dans la modernisation des plantations.: on travaille encore 25 ha.dès printemps 2007. La première recolte vinifiée complètement , du pressoir Domaines Sahateni, a été produite en 2006 et emboutellie en 2007. La segmentation de l’offre est moderne et rendre compte des demandes du marché. La ligne Varietal contient 7 vins, variété Feteasca Neagra, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Feteasca Alba, Riesling Italian et Sauvignon Blanc. La ligne Reserve-réalisée par des decoupages exclusivists, fiés à celles deux variétés grandes : Feteasca Alba et Feteasca Neagra, gamme destinée Horeca.  L’experience de 15 ans dans la production
des vins, l’ouverture vers le nouveau et la modernité, la
connaissance des pratiques comerciales européennes offrent une
certitude que les Domaines Sahateni occupera une importante place dans
la vini-viticulture de la Roumanie. On assume la responsabilité et l’honnêteté de recupérer la dimensione de la valeur du vin roumain. Alors, même sous le signe de la nouveauté, on garde la personalité de chaque variété du vin, la matrice ancestrale . C’est une forme de respect pour la vigne roumaine.
